有些动词加不定式或动名词，不定式或动名词所起的成分作用是不同的，当然其意思是一样的。其中，不定式作宾语补足语，而动名词则作宾语。

        1.    Advise

               (1)   He advised me to apply at once. 他建议我马上申请。

               (2)   He advised applying at once. 或者 He advised my applying at once.

        2.    Allow

               (1)   She allows us to talk here. 她允许我们在这里说话。

               (2)   She allows talking here. 或者 She allows our talking here.

        3.    Counsel

               (1)   She counseled us to act at once. 她建议我们立即行动。

               (2)   She counseled acting at once. 或者 She counseled our acting at once.

        4.    Encourage

               (1)   He encouraged me to learn English by radio. 他鼓励我们用收音机学习英语。

               (2)   He encouraged learning English by radio. 或者 He encouraged my learning English by radio.

        5.    Forbid

               (1)   They forbade him to smoke in this room. 他们禁止他在这个房子里抽烟。

               (2)   They forbade smoking in this room. 或者 They forbade his smoking in this room.

        6.    Permit

               (1)   They permit us to park here. 他们允许我们在这里停车。

               (2)   They permit parking here. 或者 They permit our parking here.

        7.    Recommend

               (1)   She recommends me to buy the big tin. 她建议我买大罐的东西。

               (2)   She recommends buying the big tin. 或者 She recommends my buying the big tin.

        8.    Urge

               (1)   He urged us to leave. 他催促我们离开。

               (2)   He urged leaving. 或者 He urged our leaving.
